My view on the filming

The music

I used two distinct songs in my trailer, one which I recorded of a spooky music box that my mum has, and another which I downloaded from a music sharing sight that my friend Indiana Hamilton-Brown made (he gave me full permission to use it by the way). I think they both work well together, as they have a dark, spooky feel to them. Here is a copy of the full verion of Indiana's dark ambient song.

I'm only going to used a segment from the middle of the song, as it is the darkest, and I feel the spookiest as well. Hopefully the combination of the two songs fused together will allow the soundtrack to represent and help give the viewer a strong feeling of the mood, horror factor and darkness I want my trailer to bring to the table.

Filming update 4

We have completed all of the filming that we think we need, but we are yet to start on the editing. This could lead to the situation where we actually need more filming, to fill gaps or to get the trailer to make sense. However, my partner is sick at the moment, and has the camera. This means that I cannot currently upload my footage into a film editor to find out if I need to film more footage. Hopefully he will recover quickly, so I can get it done in good time.
